Us
We
are one of the first wine sites. Since the dawn of
the web, we've been visiting wine regions and
their best wineries to bring you our experiences
and wines that appeal to our passions.
Our
publisher is known as The Wine Baron.
He started off in the computer business,
specializing in software and then e-commerce. As
founder of Symantec's first international office,
he pioneered new markets and channels for
software. Then it was on to riding the wave of
explosive growth in the development of websites
and web-based applications. At that time, the Wine
Baron in Training discovered the wonderfully
cultural world of wine. Being a web guy, he
started a wine web page. This quickly grew to a
full blown website. We're now one of the
most popular online resources about wine regions and what
they have to offer. We're still a small group of
individuals. This is no large corporation!
The Wine Baron and his team of writers are based
in Niagara Ontario, Chicago, and Bordeaux France.
