As they say,
you can literally "watch the world sail by" here.
The famous canal is a
stone's throw. A lot of large impressive ships
sail by from all over the world. The venue
itself has a Maritime theme. It feels good to
sit down here and settle in for a pint, some wine,
and some very good food.
Imbibe in your favourite
VQA wine, liquor, or enjoy the perfectly poured pint
of Guinness.
Spanning several
visits, I have enjoyed the Crab Cakes, the Canadian
Reuben, and the Mexican Steak sandwich, and the
Angus burger for lunch. Dinner is sumptuous.
Two of my favourites are the New York Strip steak
and the pan fried Mediterranean crusted Salmon.
The view at right is of
the outdoor patio and the lift bridge. You can
even stay overnight. They have onsite guest
accommodations. |
