Chateau des Jaubertes
On August 10, 1594, Raymond de Pontac, grandfather of Arnaud,
bought the Chateau des Jaubertes.
Even though the chateau was
beautiful, the property was purchased for the quality of its
soil. With their knowledge of soils gained at "Haut-Brion,"
they found an exceptional site in Jaubertes. The property is located in Graves, the first wine-producing area of Bordeaux.
