A significant aspect of this wine is that it is ready to open and enjoy
sooner than many other Bordeaux wines.

Although the tannins are significant, they are a bit softer and the overall effect of drinking this wine is one of approachable friendliness. Many Bordeaux wines require a minimum of 5 to 8 or more years before they are drinkable.

In contrast, the 2004 Jaubertes is ready now (yet with the potential to lay it down for 10 to 20 years and more). And the 2005 is showing tremendous potential to be the best vintage since 2000. Perhaps even better!

Both vintages are complex, interesting and full of character.
