TASTING
OF FINE FRENCH WINES AND NEW WORLD COUNTERPARTS IN AN ART
GALLERY SETTING!
Note: this event is now past.
Location was:
ART DE TRIUMPH
GALLERY
2936 N CLARK ST. IN CHICAGO
Wine and Leisure's Spring Wine Club Tasting!

Painting by: Nancie
King Mertz |
Art De Triumph Gallery
was the setting as I co-hosted with artist Nancie King Mertz. Surrounded by original works of art,
we enjoyed the fine wines of the Bordeaux and Rhone regions of France and compared them with surprisingly competitive New World wines made in similar traditional style coupled with new techniques.

Wine List |

Bordeaux red (St.
Emilion) |

During and after the tasting,
we enjoyed the incredibly inspiring paintings by
Nancie King Mertz. She is one of Chicago's finest artists and a delightful person. To sum it up, it
was an evening of wine, art, culture and interesting people!
